Formal Growth in the Desert is the sixth studio album by American post-punk band Protomartyr. It was released on June 2, 2023, on Domino Records.[1] It was preceded by the three singles Make Way, Elimination Dances and Polacrilex Kid. It’s a remedy for spiritual depletion: a promise to stay open when there seems to be nothing left.
