career, in between labels and surfing couches, and Madlib was a skinny, stoned
and sampling beatmaker trying to forge his way with his own Madlib Invazion
imprint as he divested from the label his music built, Stones Throw.
Pinata, their sprawling collaboration, changed the courses of these two musical
mavericks. Now, on the 10th year anniversary of its launch, Jeff Jank has designed
fresh variant cover art as Madlib Invazion presents the single LP, half speed
lacquered version of this hip hop classic.
